Halloween

The week of Halloween is always a little nuts for us. With our anniversary being on the 30th (15 years this year!), we have to make sure we get the pumpkin carving in a day or two early so that we can go out for our anniversary. Kevin carved with the kids on Wednesday, which took longer than expected and they got to bed way too late. I was home on Thursday, so they were able to sleep in a little before going to school, but Philip was pretty tired. Our friends Bill and Jennifer watched the kids for us Thursday so that we could go out. The kids had a great time with all of the fun things that Jenn planned for them. Another late night, though, and no sleeping in on Friday. So, we were all a little exhausted for Halloween, but we had great weather and the kids had a great time...and got way too much candy!
